COMPASS - Gifted and Accelerated

COMPASS - Gifted and Accelerated Learning North Branch Area Schools is very excited to continue it's Gifted and Accelerated initiative into the 2023-2024 school year for 3nd through 8th-grade students, The COMPASS (Creating Opportunities to Meet Potential And Stretch Skills) program was established in 2017 and has been designed to uniquely meet the needs of our gifted/accelerated learners.

3rd and 4th grade teams - Housed in North Branch Elementary - Accelerated Curriculum - Technology Integration (Chromebooks) - Project-Based Learning

5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Teams - Housed in the Ruth Fox Middle School - Accelerated Curriculum - Technology integration (IPADS, Chromebooks) - Project-Based Learning

9th - 12th Students - North Branch High School provides many opportunities for students to participate in advanced coursework through AP, dual enrollment, North Branch Early College and more.
