Head Start/GSRP
Head Start is an income-based federally funded preschool program for children ages 3-5. Great Start Readiness Program is a State-funded preschool program for children ages 4-5. The Head Start/GSRP program is based out of the NBAS Elementary Building.
- Disability Services: Head start includes children with disabilities.
- Nutrition: Snack and meals provided that meet USDA requirements:
- Parent Involvement: Parent involvement is the hallmark of Head Start. Parents can check their child's progress online, download learning activities and share information about their child with the teacher at www.teachingstrategies.com.
